It is our pleasure to announce that Nancy Sanchez, CPA, has joined Meaden &
Moore as a Director in the firm’s Assurance Group, based in the Chicago office.
Nancy brings more than 24 years of progressive public accounting experience, including over 18 years dedicated to employee benefit plan assurance. Her background includes leadership roles at Baker Tilly and Grant Thornton, where she helped strengthen employee benefit plan practices, develop teams, and build lasting client relationships.
She specializes in employee benefit plan audits and advises plan sponsors, finance executives, human resources leaders, and fiduciaries on retirement plan reporting, compliance, operational challenges, and plan corrections. Most recently, Nancy served as a Managing Director at Baker Tilly, where she helped lead a Chicago employee benefit plan practice supporting approximately 100 retirement plan audits annually.
Known for her practical, relationship-driven approach, Nancy combines technical expertise with a commitment to understanding each client’s needs. She is also a dedicated mentor who has developed training materials, provided technical guidance, and supported collaboration across U.S. and international engagement teams.
At Meaden & Moore, Nancy will help grow the firm’s employee benefit plan practice in the Chicago market, building relationships with local businesses and plan sponsors while supporting clients with complex plan reporting and compliance needs. She will also contribute to audit quality and team development within the Employee Benefit Plan Group.

Nancy earned a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from the University of Illinois in Chicago. She is a Certified Public Accountant in Illinois and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). She is also a Member with ALPFA Chicago and volunteers with PAWS Chicago, the Greater Chicago Food Depository, and Lurie Children’s Hospital.
