Lynn Koster Appointed to the Susan G. Komen Northeast Ohio Board

Congratulations to Lynn Koster for being appointed to the Susan G. Komen Northeast Ohio Board.
 
Susan G. Komen Northeast Ohio serves a 22-county region of Northeast Ohio and is one of more than 70 Affiliates around the globe responsible for leading the global movement to end breast cancer.  In 1980, Nancy G. Brinker promised her dying sister, Susan, that she would do everything in her power to end breast cancer forever. In 1982, that promise became the Susan G. Komen® organization and the beginning of a global movement. As of 2019, Komen has raised over $1billion dollars spent towards research to end breast cancer.
 
Lynn assists not-for-profit organizations and small business entities with a variety of accounting, auditing and business advice.  She works with directors and business owners to help them develop and identify internal accounting best practices to make better decisions.  Lynn also advises many companies and organizations on creating efficiencies and improvements in internal financial reporting and controls.
 
Lynn has over 20 years in public accounting, working with a wide variety of companies in various industries with a focus on not-for-profit organizations.
 
As a lead member of the Firm’s not-for-profit core team, she devotes a significant amount of her time towards sharing industry related expertise, developing an efficient audit approach and training internal staff.  Lynn is a frequent speaker and conducts internal and external sessions on a variety of topics affecting not-for-profits and small businesses.
