Kendra C. Myers Earns Forbes Best-In-State CPAs Recognition

Meaden & Moore is proud to announce that Kendra C. Myers, CPA, a Vice Kendra Philon_ CPA_ Vice President_Meaden&Moore President in the firm’s Assurance Services Group and leader of the Not-for-Profit Practice, has been named to the 2026 Forbes Best-In-State CPAs list.

This recognition highlights Kendra’s leadership, technical expertise, and dedication to delivering exceptional service to her clients and community.

The Forbes Best-In-State CPAs list recognizes outstanding CPAs in public practice across the country. Honorees are selected through independent nominations and evaluated based on criteria including expertise, innovation, thought leadership, experience, and service to both their communities and the profession.

With more than 20 years of experience at Meaden & Moore, Kendra has built a career centered on serving privately held businesses and not-for-profit organizations. She provides both attestation and tax services and works closely with small business owners, advising them on accounting best practices and strategic decision-making.

In addition to her client work, Kendra is actively engaged in the community and professional organizations. She serves as a board member of the Greater Akron Chamber, Akron Community Foundation, and Akron Art Museum, and has held leadership roles with organizations including ArtsNow, Inc., the Black Giving Collective Fund of Akron Community Foundation, United Way of Summit & Medina Counties, and the Women’s Endowment Fund of Akron Community Foundation. She is also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Akron Alumnae Chapter, Leadership Akron Class XXXIII, and Torchbearers Alumni.

Kendra has been recognized for her leadership and impact through numerous honors, including Crain’s Cleveland Business 40 Under 40, the 40 Under 40 Black CPA Award, the Ohio Society of CPAs Power of Change Award, Cleveland Magazine Woman of Distinction, and the Dr. Frank L. Simonetti Distinguished Business Alumni Award.
