Clara Waterman-Rue Attending Second Annual Property Insurance Claims Group Claims Academy

The Academy is aimed at the next generation of consultants/experts, those who may be working for the London Market but have not been to London, and aims to provide them with an insight into the uniqueness of Lloyd’s of London and the London Market.

Clara works in Meaden & Moore’s Boston office, having joined the firm in 2019.  She was drawn to the dynamic nature of forensic accounting while studying at American University, from which she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Law.

At Meaden & Moore, Clara has worked on a wide range of projects, including business income, property damage, builder’s risk, spoilage, remediation, event cancellation, and employee dishonesty.  Her experience includes high-volume catastrophe claims, complex losses in excess of $200 million (USD), and everything in between.

When asked about what she was looking forward to about the PICG Claims Academy, she said, “I’m looking forward to learning more about the London market, as well as more about the claims process from start to finish. I’m excited to meet and learn from many experienced and respected individuals within our field."
