Since 1996, Sheila Wood has been providing consulting, training, programming, and software implementation services to small to mid-size manufacturing companies in Ohio, Western PA, and the eastern United States and Canada. From 1996 to 2002, she grew her consulting practice from 1 employee to 8 employees. In 2002, she merged with another firm from Chicago, IL to expand the organization and services to manufacturers across the entire United States.
Sheila has wide experience in multiple industries and manufacturing environments. She has led projects in metal forming, CNC machining, aerospace parts supply, and process batch applications. She recently has been working to optimize ERP applications for a major U.S. based aerospace OEM, to help them with their integrated supply chain. Her specialty has been in developing long-term on-going relationships with her small and midsize clients.
In 2004, Sheila’s company began working with Meaden & Moore on a regular and cooperative basis. In recent years, this relationship grew strong enough that her company was acquired by Meaden & Moore.
Prior to entering the consulting profession, Sheila assisted in the growth of a newly established machinery sales company as its Director of Operations. This company grew to be a multi-million dollar company and is still growing today. Later, Sheila became the Chief Financial Officer for another manufacturing company, helping them establish a new division and building a new facility.
Her vast experience has been in multiple packages including DCD Classic, Epicor Vista, Vantage, and 9, ECI’s M1, and Microsoft Dynamics Solomon.
