On September 7th, a group of Meaden & Moore employees cooked and served dinner to the families staying at the Ronald McDonald House. The staff at the Ronald McDonald House work hard to provide a home-like environment for over 1,400 families every year dealing with the difficulties of caring for a chronically ill child. Many of these families spend all day at the hospital, at doctor appointments, in therapy or in the waiting rooms. These families are mentally, physically and emotionally exhausted at the end of the day. Cooking dinner for their family is the last thing they want to do after a long day at the hospital.
We cooked a Mexican themed dinner for the families and donated various items to the Ronald McDonald House. The children also enjoyed breaking a piñata filled with candy. The Ronald McDonald House is very appreciative of Meaden & Moore’s continued support over the years. Special thanks to the M&M employees who participated in the event: Ryan Arlia, Lauren Centa, Carlin Culbertson, Hillary Gaddis, Luke Kellogg, Alison Martanovic, John Nicholas, Brittany Oliveri and Megan Quinn.
