Accounting for Kids
Douglas Carpenter, Cyndi Polovich and Pam Landis from our Wooster office, taught 5th and 6th grade students at Wooster Christian School how to manage money by participating in a fun competitive game, called FETCH!, created by The Ohio Society of CPAs. FETCH! stands for Financial Education Teaches Children Healthy Habits and is a fun way to teach children the important fundamentals of managing money. It’s built on a simple concept, yet requires students to make decisions that have real consequences, just like real life. Over 1,200 OSCPA members and volunteers presented FETCH! in 413 classrooms throughout Ohio.
