Experience
Al has extensive experience in serving the advisory and consulting needs of many of our clients, as well as managing the accounting and tax service engagements performed for those clients. As an attorney-CPA and an accomplished tax practitioner, he is an authority on tax matters. He guides the efforts of staff on planning, compliance, and representation issues. Al is an enthusiastic professional, assisting businesses by applying his expert knowledge of accounting and tax law. His consulting experience has focused on entity structuring, mergers and acquisitions, estate and succession planning, and the development of tax minimization strategies that coincide with clients’ economic objectives. Al received his professional training and experience over a ten-year period with the Standard Oil Company, Ernst & Young, and Kopperman & Wolf prior to serving as the tax partner of Daywalt, Tobin and Company, which merged with Meaden & Moore in September 2001.
