Experience
For nearly three decades, Pete has been providing tax planning services for privately held companies, business succession planning, and individual tax and retirement planning. He focuses his practice on “flow-through” entities and how to minimize the tax liabilities of their owners. He also serves as the Director of Tax Services for the firm and oversees all aspects of the tax compliance and consulting practice.

Pete’s responsibilities include keeping current with new laws, rulings and court opinions that impact the firm’s clientele, representing clients that are under audit and serving as their advocate throughout the audit process, and regularly advising clients on the tax consequences of a wide array of transactions.

He has been a frequent speaker for professional, civic and business organizations on a variety of tax topics, and he authors the “Tax Tips” column for Crain’s Cleveland Business.
