Giving Back
Meaden & Moore’s culture embraces and encourages active civic and community involvement. Helping and supporting others and making our communities better places to live and preserving our environment for future generations is important to Meaden & Moore. We actively support our communities through various financial and service initiatives as well as by encouraging and supporting active civic and community involvement of our employees and their families.
Specifically, we embrace the principle of service in the following ways:
- Non-profit practice. Meaden & Moore has a large not-for-profit service niche in which we serve over 60 community non-profit organizations at discounted rates.
- Active members of Business Volunteers Unlimited. The firm has been a member of BVU for several years and has been very active in promoting its mission within the firm.
- Non-profit board involvement. The firm actively encourages and supports the civic and community involvement of our employees. Many members of our team are on various non-profit boards including Providence House, United Way, Cleveland Rape Crisis Center, Goodwill Industries, Lupus Foundation, Ohio Foundation of Independent Colleges, and the Epilepsy Association, to name a few. In addition to being on boards, many employees are involved in helping charitable organizations through fundraising, committee participation, and volunteer work.
- Volunteer Activities. Throughout the year Meaden & Moore employees and their families become involved in numerous volunteer activities supported by the firm. Some of these include Adopt-A-Family, Habitat for Humanity, United Way, Harvest for Hunger food drives, and various charity walks, among others. - Charitable donations. Annually Meaden & Moore contributes funds and in kind services to charitable organizations. During the last year, Meaden & Moore has donated over $60,000 to various charities. A few of these organizations include:
